Babies have the most delicate, sensitive skin and because their skin is so permeable, everything that is put on it is quickly absorbed into their little bodies. However, there is minimal regulation in the U.S. as to what ingredients are allowed in baby products. In fact, the European Union has banned over 1,300 ingredients in personal care products while the U.S. has only banned 11.
We believe you and your baby deserve better. That's why we are uncompromising in our formulations: we have banned over 1,500 ingredients, we only source ingredients that have an EWG Skin Deep rating of 1 (the best possible score), and all of our products are hand crafted to be non-toxic, cruelty free, fragrance free, and safe for the most sensitive skin.

our story
When I first started working in beauty, I was shocked to learn just how unregulated the industry is. As I learned about the potential dangers of ingredients commonly found in personal care products, I began my clean beauty journey and discovered a whole new world of clean skincare, makeup, and haircare products. When I gave birth to my first child, I realized the options were far more limited for baby care. I struggled to find products that were clean and natural, but also luxurious and beautiful, like the products I was using for myself. I created Lapine with the goal to make the safest, most efficacious, luxurious baby products because just like you, I want only the best for my child.
